Finally! Here’s the video I promised in my last post.
Funny how what I talked about last time (watch out for this potentially devastating kind of clutter) totally relates to me getting this darn thing out. I had to heed my own advice: forget perfection, get over the fear. (Watching yourself on video is not a lot of fun!)

What are the things you can do before Monday that’ll make things go smoother? Even if it’s just one thing at first. If it’s not something you already do, try it out.

- “Anchor” this new ritual next to something you already have in place (for example, after yoga class on Saturday or after church on Sunday). Anchoring is a great way to help habits stick.
- Try it out for a few weeks, and change it up if needed. I’m shifting #2 & #3 (see video!) to Fridays because I think that’ll work better for me.
- If you have school-age kids, help them create a checklist for their own get-ready-for-the-week things. This is an incredible habit to help them develop.
And one final tip – if you’d call it that:
Once you begin doing this, and then DON’T do it one week, you’ll value this ritual that much more!!!
